Dear Community, 

 

I am pleased to announce that as of yesterday September 1, 2026, the amendments related to the insurance deductible and the rental cap of 10% for our community were officially recorded in Boone County.  The amendments are now in place and effective. As a result of the amendments, we are expecting to be able to obtain a lower insurance rate for the community.  Placing a limitation of 10% on rentals will help to preserve community property values.

I want to thank the board and all of the volunteers who helped to make this happen. I know walking door-to-door to obtain signatures was a lot of work.  It was through the volunteers, we were able to make this happen.  Thank you community for your support!
